On Thursday, March 13th, the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions released the Mental Health Parity Toolkit that the Florida Alliance developed with them to the public. Florida Alliance President and CEO Karen van Caulil was quoted in the press release that was issued with the toolkit.

The Leapfrog Group announced 18 hospitals in Florida that have been named on their 2024 list of Top Hospitals, and 13 ambulatory surgery centers in Florida that have been named to their list of Top Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs). The Hospital Safety Grade uses up to 30 performance measures to assign an “A, “B,” “C,” “D,” or “F” to individual hospitals and uses a public, peer-reviewed methodology, calculated by top patient safety experts under the guidance of a National Expert Panel.
