The Leapfrog Group announced 18 hospitals in Florida that have been named on their 2024 list of Top Hospitals, and 13 ambulatory surgery centers in Florida that have been named to their list of Top Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs). These awards honor top hospitals and ASCs on patient safety and quality.

The Leapfrog Group Announces Fall 2024 Hospital Safety Grades
On Friday, November 15, The Leapfrog Group announced the Fall 2024 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades, evaluating nearly 3,000 hospitals on their ability to prevent medical errors, accidents, and infections. The Hospital Safety Grade uses up to 30 performance measures to assign an “A, “B,” “C,” “D,” or “F” to individual hospitals and uses a public, peer-reviewed methodology, calculated by top patient safety experts under the guidance of a National Expert Panel.
