Keynote Speaker
Back by popular demand was our keynote speaker, Dr. Marty Makary, Johns Hopkins Surgeon, Professor of Public Health Policy at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, and best-selling author of “Improving Wisely” and “The Price We Pay.” Dr. Makary was last with us two years ago as keynote speaker at our virtual Annual Conference in April 2021.
Florida Alliance President and CEO Karen van Caulil, and Florida Alliance Board Chair Rosa Novo, Executive Benefits Director at Miami-Dade County Public Schools, opened this event which was FREE and open to the public.
This event offered the opportunity to learn about the important work the Florida Alliance for Healthcare Value does to improve the value of health care in Florida.
